Assessments¶
Longer, mixed quizzes for checking whether the material actually stuck. Unlike the short "Check Your Understanding" blocks at the end of each note, these pull questions from a whole topic and shuffle them, so you cannot answer from the context of the paragraph you just read.
Every question can be retried, and each correct answer carries an explanation.

How to use these¶
- Before reading a section, to find out what you already know and what to focus on.
- After reading it, to check retention rather than recognition.
- As exam practice, since the questions are written in the style of a written exam rather than as recall prompts.
A wrong answer usually points at one page. The explanations name the concept, so search the site for it rather than re-reading the whole section.
